It’s my 25th birthday today. I’ve spent it in my most favourite place which, also happens to be where I work! How lucky am I?

I don’t know why but, 25 feels like a good age. I still sometimes look for a deeper, more meaningful reason as to why I pot but, honestly, I am just very lucky to have found something that I love doing which can also support me. For as long as it does, I will be ever grateful. Thank you to anyone and everyone who has supported me along the way.

I will be here again tomorrow from 10-4, then back open on Tuesday 15th.

A little trimming on the cards today! It is so satisfying when you get a full trim without having to stop, I love the lines the the trimming tool leaves in the pot.

Having said that, I do go in afterwards with a flatter tool to get rid of said lines to make a nice smooth bottom!

It’s getting to that time of year where you can start having tea outside in the garden again!

When the weather improves, it is so easy to forget how long the winter has felt but, the sun, flowers and smiley faces on the streets make it so much easier to keep going! I am endlessly thankful to all the support I receive; shopping small and supporting local goes so much further than you know!

Waxing bases of mini dishes today. It’s not the easiest process due to the need for a super steady hand so that the wax only covers the bevel on the base of the pot - definitely not one to do after having had too many coffees!

I’m getting a load of pots through the kiln ready for the Easter holidays down here in Salcombe.
