After the summer, I have been working my way throu

After the summer, I have been working my way through buckets of reclaim. Running throwing lessons means that the studio is going through a lot more clay/a lot more ends up in these buckets!

Fortunately, one of the blessings of clay is that, up until it’s first firing, it can all be reclaimed, slaked down, and used again … magic!

Unfortunately, when I was moving some boards of mugs around in the studio the other day, I knocked this one on the shelf above, chipping it, so, into the bucket it goes!

Just sharing a little reality of real time today - nothing at the wheel has been working this morning, including these bowls which I really have to get made for a commission .., maybe that’s why? I am now left with the question of whether to try again this afternoon, or hold until tomorrow?!
